Ashley Baker - Founder

My name is Ashley Baker, and I’m the founder of The Hosting House Events LLC. I began planning events in 2012, starting with small gatherings for family and friends, where I quickly discovered a true passion for creating beautiful, meaningful celebrations. What began as something I loved naturally grew into a passion built on creativity, connection, and attention to detail.

Since 2012, I’ve planned over 50 events—including birthdays, engagement parties, graduation celebrations, bachelorette parties, baby showers, holiday gatherings, office events, and even my own full-scale black-tie wedding. Each experience has strengthened my ability to design events that are both visually stunning and seamlessly executed.

I’m married to my high school sweetheart, and together we have three beautiful children who inspire me every day. As a mom to children on the autism spectrum, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how to create environments that feel welcoming, comfortable, and inclusive for all.

When I’m not planning events, I’m a full-time mom and caretaker to our medically fragile youngest, whose strength and resilience continue to shape my perspective on what truly matters. Because of this, I don’t just plan events—I create experiences with intention. I understand how meaningful it is to gather, celebrate, and be fully present in life’s most important moments.

I’ve always been drawn to the creative side of event design—it allows me to express my artistic vision while bringing ideas to life in a way that feels personal and unforgettable. I love meeting new people, hearing their vision, and transforming it into something even more special than they imagined.

After years of experience and a deep passion for this work, I’ve finally had the courage to fully pursue this dream—building The Hosting House Events LLC alongside my best friend, Summer Elqadi. Summer is the cofounder of this beautiful business and shares the same passion for creating meaningful, well-designed celebrations.

Together, we are dedicated to creating elevated, seamless events where every detail is thoughtfully curated—while ensuring each celebration is inclusive, stress-free, and truly memorable for every guest.
